Changes within the Lightspeed Restaurant POS application

• Use the “Actions Panel” to send individual items to the kitchen or bar
• “Order Screen” has been introduced a new fire button, which allows waiters to notify the kitchen to start preparing the course
• The “Manager” now has the control to give permission to allow discounts to the other users
• Sign and tip on the screen to improve the speed of payment settlement
• Another feature added for a quick payment settlement is having suggested amounts in the “Payments Screen”
• The waiters can now access the “Last used” menu memory

• The restaurant manager can now set particular menus for a device or a floor plan
• Create a menu by grouping different categories together and switch between them on the Lightspeed Restaurant application
• Limit the user access for select sections as restaurant manager
• Edit kitchen templates to show item names on a fire course (A fire course let’s the waiter notify the kitchen which course to prepare first via the application)
• Organize modifiers by PLU on the bar, kitchen and receipt templates
