A typical problem with Sage 50 is the printing of Reports; usually seperate reports for different printers are setup.
Let's say User A wants to print a Sales Order and has a Canon MP240 attached to his / her PC but is unable to.
Let's take this example:
User A wants to print a Sales Order, and has a Canon attached to her PC.
User A is unable to print the report to the Canon unless Report Designer > Page Setup > Printer has been set to Canon.
When User B tries to print the same Sales Order report on their machine, they are unable to as they have an HP Printer and a box pops up with the following error:
"Report Designer was unable to generate the report:
Settings to access printer 'HP Printer' are not valid."
In order to resolve this issue one must go into Report Designer > Page Setup > Just Remove The Specific Printer.
That way, wherever the Report is printed from, Sage Defaults to the Clients Default Printer.
